BAKTI Ministry of Communication and Information Technology Commits to Improve Internet Access in Tourist Villages
The Badan Aksesibilitas Telekomunikasi dan Informasi (BAKTI) of the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (Kominfo) is committed to enhancing internet access in tourism villages in Indonesia to support the development of tourism in those areas. In collaboration with Atourin, a technology company in the tourism sector, BAKTI organized a Digitalization Training Program for Tourism Stakeholders in East Sumba Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. The program aims to optimize the utilization of BAKTI's ICT infrastructure, promote understanding of hospitality, digital branding, and marketing among tourism practitioners, and provide training and assistance to 30 tourism stakeholders from 15 tourist villages.
