Logitech Introduces Astro A50 X Wireless Headset with Multi-Device Connectivity
Logitech has unveiled the Astro A50 X wireless headset, the fifth generation in the Astro A50 lineup. This new headset allows users to seamlessly switch between devices such as PlayStation 5 (PS5), Xbox Series X/S, and PC by simply pressing a button on the headset. The Playsync technology, enabled by the separate Base Station unit, enables simultaneous connections to all three devices. The Base Station provides connectors for the three devices and a TV, featuring two HDMI 2.1 inputs for consoles, a USB C input for PC, and an HDMI 2.1 output for the TV. While the video output is passed to the TV, the audio signal is transmitted wirelessly to the headset. When docked in the Base Station, the audio signal is automatically routed to the TV. The Astro A50 X headset displays visual graphics on the TV screen and audio cues in the headset to indicate the connected device when switching wireless connections between consoles. For PCs, audio cues are provided through the headset. The Astro A50 X wireless headset comes with Pro-G Graphene 40 mm drivers for high-quality audio and a 16-bit 48 KHz full-band microphone. It is available for pre-order on the Logitech website for $380 USD (approximately Rp 5.9 million) and is expected to be released in the first half of 2024.
