Vivo iQoo 12 5G Flagship Smartphone Launched in Indonesia
Vivo's gaming-focused sub-brand, iQoo, has officially launched its latest flagship smartphone, the iQoo 12 5G, in Indonesia. The iQoo 12 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, making it the first phone in the country to feature this advanced processor. It comes with 16 GB of RAM, 512 GB of storage, and the option to extend the RAM to 16 GB. The iQoo 12 is priced at Rp 11 million for the 16/512 GB variant, which is slightly cheaper compared to Malaysia. It is available for pre-order in two color options, Alpha (white) and Legend (black), from December 7th to 11th, 2023. The phone offers improved gaming performance with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and a self-developed Supercomputing Chip Q1. It also features a 6K Vapor Chamber Cooling System for better heat dissipation during gaming sessions. Additionally, the iQoo 12 boasts an enhanced camera system, including a telephoto lens with optical zoom up to 3x and digital zoom up to 100x. The rear camera setup consists of a 50 MP ultrawide camera and a 50 MP main camera with OIS, while the front camera has a 16 MP resolution. The phone sports a flat frame design and an AMOLED display measuring 6.78 inches with a 144 Hz refresh rate. It houses a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging. The iQoo 12 runs on Android 14 with FuntouchOS 14, and it offers various connectivity options such as 5G, dual SIM, NFC, WiFi 7, USB-C, stereo speakers, and Bluetooth 5.4.
