"Galax GeForce RTX 4060 Ti Max: The Thinnest Single-Slot Graphics Card"
The Galax GeForce RTX 4060 Ti Max is a new graphics card that stands out for its slim design, measuring only 20 mm thick and fitting into a single PCIe slot. Unlike most modern graphics cards with axial fans and thicker profiles requiring multiple PCIe slots, the Galax GeForce RTX 4060 Ti Max utilizes a blower-type fan that exhausts heat through vents at the rear, alongside the display connectors. This slim form factor not only allows for flexible installation but also saves space. With a fully copper heatsink and vapor chamber, the graphics card features a single-slot design, a 6-layer PCB, and a 6+2 phase VRM. It has a single PCIe 8-pin power connector at the back and a TGP (Total Graphics Power) of 165 watts. While Galax claims support for overclocking, the default clock speed remains the same as the standard GeForce RTX 4060 Ti at 2,535 MHz. The GPU used is the RTX 4060 Ti variant with 16 GB GDDR6 VRAM (128-bit). No information is available yet regarding the release of an 8 GB or non-Ti version. The official launch of the slim Galax RTX 4060 Ti graphics card took place recently, although pricing details and availability are still undisclosed.
