WhatsApp Now Supports Sending Media Files in Original Resolution
WhatsApp has introduced a new feature that allows users on iOS to send photos and videos in their original resolution without compression. Initially available to beta users, the update (version 23.24.73) now enables all WhatsApp iOS users to share media files with their full resolution. This feature simplifies the process of sending high-quality media by providing a dedicated option for selecting and sending photos or videos as documents. The update also includes additional features such as starting voice chats without ringing the group, displaying new bubbles for missed calls or ongoing calls, and using reactions in WhatsApp status with avatars. It is expected that Android users will also receive this feature in the future. The maximum file size for sending media remains at 2 GB.
