KPU Claims Uninterrupted Printing of Voter List Copies for the 2024 Election

The General Elections Commission (KPU) stated that the printing process of duplicate copies of the Permanent Voter List (DPT) for the 2024 election is not disrupted by alleged voter data leaks. KPU member Idham Holik mentioned that the printing process is secure and unaffected. However, the details of the leaks, including whether they are related to the upcoming 2024 elections or previous elections, remain uncertain. The Cyber Security Task Force of KPU is currently investigating the issue, and the results will be shared with the public once the investigation is complete. The State Cyber and Cryptography Agency (BSSN) has also submitted a preliminary report on the digital forensic investigation of the data leaks to the Indonesian National Police's Cybercrime Directorate (Dittipidsiber) and the KPU.
