Vendor smartphone Honor from China has launched its latest phone, the Honor X7b, in the global market on Saturday (2/12/2023). The Honor X7b focuses on its camera sector, battery capacity, and chipset.

The Honor X7b features a 108 MP (f/1.8) main camera, a 5 MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide camera, and a 2 MP (f/2.2) macro camera. These cameras are arranged in two circular modules on the back of the Honor X7b, accompanied by an LED flash.

On the other hand, the Honor X7b's selfie camera has an 8 MP (f/2.0) resolution. The camera is housed in a hole-punch cutout on the phone's screen. For comparison, the regular version of the Honor X7 has a 48 MP main camera and an 8 MP front camera.

The Honor X7b is powered by a massive 6,000 mAh battery, which is claimed to last up to 18 hours for video playback, 24 hours for social media browsing, and 69 hours for music streaming.

If the battery runs out, it can be recharged using the included Honor SuperCharge adapter with 35W charging support. In terms of hardware, the latest Honor smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC, supporting 4G connectivity instead of 5G.

This octa-core chipset includes four Kryo 265 Gold units (clockspeed 2.4 GHz) and four Kryo 265 Silver units (clockspeed 1.9 GHz). The GPU used is Adreno 610.

The Honor X7b comes with 6 GB/8 GB of RAM and 128 GB/256 GB of storage, expandable via a microSD slot. It features a 6.8-inch flat LCD screen with a 1080p resolution and a 90 Hz refresh rate.

The device's screen is also certified by TUV Rheinland for low blue light emission, reducing eye fatigue.

The Honor X7b runs on Android 13 OS with the MagicOS 7.2 user interface. Its supporting features include 4G connectivity, USB-C port, integrated fingerprint scanner on the side-mounted power button, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, stereo speakers, and more.

The Honor X7b is available in Flowing Silver, Emerald Green, and Midnight Black color options in the global market. The price of the Honor X7b is $249 (approximately Rp 3.8 million), as quoted from GizChina. The actual price may vary depending on the region.

The specific RAM and storage variants offered at that price are not known yet, as Honor has not released a complete price list for the Honor X7b.
