WhatsApp has introduced an enhanced Chat Lock feature that allows users to hide locked messages using secret codes. These messages will not be visible in the chat list but can only be found by typing the code in the search bar. The unique and complex codes make it difficult for others to guess the password. The additional security layer aims to improve user privacy, especially when lending their phone to others. WhatsApp also provides a new way to access Locked Chats directly from the main menu. The feature is being rolled out gradually and will be available globally in the coming months.
