Apple Releases iOS 17.1.2 and iPadOS 17.1.2 to Address Critical Bugs
Apple has released iOS 17.1.2 and iPadOS 17.1.2, important updates aimed at fixing dangerous bugs found in previous versions. The bugs, known as "WebKit Bugzilla: 265041" and "WebKit Bugzilla: 265067," originated from the Safari browser and have been present since iOS 16.7.1. These vulnerabilities could allow for data theft and execution of malicious code through websites accessed via Safari. Users are advised to update to iOS 17.1.2 or iPadOS 17.1.2 immediately. To update, go to "Settings" > "General" > "Software Update." Compatible devices include iPhone XS or newer models, as well as various iPad models. Apple is actively addressing issues reported in iOS 17 and plans to release iOS 17.2 later this year, which will include significant app updates and bug fixes.
