XL Axiata, a mobile network operator, has unveiled a new internet package called "Teng-Go" for Axis cards on Wednesday, November 1, 2023. Unlike traditional data packages, Teng-Go offers users the ability to access Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube with unlimited data (unlimited quota) based on time.

For instance, the most affordable Teng-Go package allows users to purchase unlimited internet access for these platforms for 3 hours at a cost of Rp 2,000. The pricing details for Teng-Go internet packages are as follows:

• Rp 2,000 for 3 hours of access to Instagram/TikTok/Facebook/YouTube.
• Rp 3,000 for 6 hours of access to Instagram/TikTok/Facebook/YouTube.
• Rp 5,000 for 12 hours of access to Instagram/TikTok/Facebook/YouTube.

To enhance the user experience with Teng-Go, XL has introduced a Play and Pause feature in its AxisNet app for Axis card users. Through this feature, customers can start using their Teng-Go internet package by pressing "Play" and pause it by hitting "Pause" to ensure they don't waste any of their package's duration.

Alfons Bosch, Chief Marketing Officer at XL Axiata, stated, "As a youth-oriented brand, we understand that at certain times, they may not wish to access social media, such as during school or college. The Play and Pause feature in the Teng-Go package provides users with the freedom to manage when they want to use social media."

It's worth noting that the Teng-Go internet package is exclusively designed for accessing one of the four popular social media platforms: Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, or YouTube. Alfons explains that these four are the most beloved social media platforms among Axis customers, with users spending an average of 3-4 hours per day on them.

As for the availability of the Teng-Go internet package, customers can purchase it through the AxisNet app, which is downloadable from both the Android (Play Store) and iOS (App Store) app stores. This package can be purchased without the need for a primary data quota and can also serve as an additional or add-on internet package. The usage and access to the four applications depend on the selected package, and customers have the option to purchase more than one Teng-Go package.
